Listen to what the clients say
“I love Japanese Sake, but the prices in Hong Kong stores are very expensive, so I cannot afford to buy or enjoy it in local restaurants.”
“Why is Sake in Hong Kong somtimes selling 3 to 4 times more expensive than in Japan, it is ridiculous...”
“The Sake from local store is not the same taste as what I drank last time when travelling in Japan. It is a bit strange.”
“Some restaurants keep Sake in room temperature. Also, staff introduction of Sake does not match
the actual taste. Why?”
Why are these happening?
4 Major problems you may not know!
1
Currently, Japanese Shuzou highly rely on oversea importer to export the products. But, Shuzou may not know the real comments from oversea clients about their products on the quality and pricing.
2
Sake may not be shipped, stored, or transported in the required temperature and conditions. Thus the product quality is affected.
3
Shuzou does not have control in the oversea selling prices, so the sake prices may be marked up a lot and sold extremely expensive. This creates bad image but those profits do not go to your pocket.
4
The local importers and shops may use their own preferred way to store the Sake, as well as own understanding to introduce the Sake which may cause confusions to the customers.
